2025: A Milestone Year for JAH Electrical Services

Plymouth Marine Centre Remodel
One of the first major projects of the year saw our experienced engineers working on the extensive remodel of the Plymouth Marine Centre. We carried out a wide range of electrical installation works throughout the building, including containment power, lighting, and cabling.
It was incredibly rewarding to watch the transformation unfold. The old workshop has now been reimagined into an impressive new showroom featuring boats, jet skis, and marine equipment. Our carefully designed lighting installations have helped bring the space to life, showcasing each piece at its best and helping to create a vibrant, modern environment.
Being part of such a striking redevelopment was a fantastic way to kick off the year.
Celebrating 20 Years of JAH Electrical Services
January 2025 marked an especially significant moment in our company’s history.
Our 20-year anniversary: Two decades of innovation, dedication, and unwavering commitment to electrical excellence, something we’re immensely proud of.
We owe a huge thank you to our talented team, both past and present, whose hard work and professionalism have shaped JAH into the respected electrical contractor it is today. We’re also deeply grateful to Jamie and Angie, whose leadership, vision, and commitment to quality have been central to our continued growth.
One of the areas we celebrate most is our long-running investment in apprenticeships. Supporting the next generation of electricians and watching our apprentices grow into confident, skilled members of the team remains one of the most rewarding parts of our journey. As we look ahead to the next 20 years, we remain committed to embracing new technologies, pushing boundaries, and delivering exceptional electrical solutions.
ROBUS Lighting
JAH travelled to Dublin to visit ROBUS Lighting – a global leader in LED lighting solutions. The visit highlighted our ongoing commitment to staying at the forefront of industry innovation. By exploring the latest developments in lighting technology, we continue to bring our customers the very best solutions for both domestic and commercial environments. Remaining proactive and informed ensures that we can keep delivering high-quality, energy-efficient lighting options for homes and businesses across Plymouth.
A Standout Commercial Project: Fairway Furniture
Another major highlight has been our work on the refurbishment of Fairway Furniture’s flagship Plymstock store. Partnering with another long-standing family business was a pleasure, and the project ran seamlessly thanks to excellent collaboration with Spacework Interiors and the various trades on site. We were delighted to receive such positive feedback from the team at Fairway Furniture, who praised our clear communication, dedication, and high-quality installation. Delivering a clean, efficient electrical fit-out to support their refreshed store design was a fantastic achievement for our engineers.
Supporting Local Success: Plymouth Cricket Club
This year, we were proud match-day sponsors for Plymouth Cricket Club during a standout Devon Premier League performance. Their impressive home-ground win against Exmouth – featuring a half-century from Ted Haffenden and an incredible 6-for from overseas professional Mekyle Pillay – was a brilliant moment to be part of.
Supporting local sport and community initiatives remains hugely important to us, and we were thrilled to see such a strong result from a talented team.
20 Years as a NICEIC Approved Contractor
Another major achievement this year was securing our 20th consecutive year as a NICEIC Approved Contractor. Passing our annual assessment with flying colours once again reaffirms our commitment to the highest industry standards. For our customers, this accreditation provides complete confidence that every JAH project is carried out safely, professionally, and in line with all regulatory requirements.
Backing the Greens: Plymouth Argyle Promotional Spaces
Our support for Plymouth Argyle has continued throughout the year, with JAH proudly displayed around Home Park. Being part of the incredible community spirit that surrounds the club is always an honour, and we’re thrilled to keep backing The Pilgrims both on and off the pitch.
